Joint attention is the ability to understand non-verbal communication shared between two or more people, such as eye-gaze and hand gestures. This is an important skill for children during their early developmental stage, and is also used to screen autism. The questionnaire has been designed by the Taipei City Hospital and the National Taipei University of Education, with content provided by Associate Prof. Ming Lu.
