One day, two imposters came to the palace and tricked the emperor into believing they could make clothing which only very intelligent people could see. Although none of his officials, his court or even himself could see the clothes, not one person was willing to admit it. In the end, he wore the clothes to the annual parade, and two children finally spoke the truth, putting an end to the ridiculous scam.
